Too Many Consists

Unread postby railduffer » Mon Jun 18, 2018 2:34 pm

I have too many consists listed in my program. I think whenever I buy a new route, 20 consists come with it. I have so many it is very confusing. There are a few I would like to keep, but I have a hard time finding consists I have built.
So, can anyone help me to eliminate extra stuff I don't want. Rolling stock and locomotives I want to keep, but I would like to eliminate most of the consists.
Some of the consists listed are locomotives only. Should I get rid of these? I have RW Tools, but I am not sure how to use it to achieve what I want.
I would appreciate any help. Thanks

Aren't the Consists kept in the PreLoad folder of each Provider/Product folder? There should also be Consist Fragments in a separate folder under the PreLoad folder. You would have to edit those folders through an XML editor like Notepad or Notepad++, or use the RW_Tools, which I have no clue how that is done.

Unless you really know what you are doing, I would leave everything as is, as you could find loading a scenario, you may get the missing assets message.
