Victory Works - S160

Hi,

Not sure the Dev forum gets much love, so thought I would cross post this here...

Hoping somebody with this add on can help me out here. It is a great looking add on, however, I would like a plain un-lined / un-logo'd version for use on lines other than the Alaska. Reading the manual hints that you can supress the road name in the tender number, but I was hoping somebody could confirm this. I have hunted about and not managed to find a single vid or screenie that shows a plain black loco / tender. I am just trying to find some "generic" steam to help populate the new B&LE when it arrives.

*!!thnx!!*

!*cheers*!

I'll take a peek when I get a couple of minutes.

Excellent **!!bow!!**

Thanks - It is sort of mentioned in the manual, but I have not seen it discussed anywhere and hadn't seen any pics - till now :)

I will pick this up in the Thanksgiving Sales all being well...

You're welcome !*salute*!

It can only be done on the USATC Black Variant (US/UK). That's one livery out of a whole bunch of others, so easy to miss.

Definitely a great buy. I'm planning to get all Victory Works products eventually, if my wallet behaves :P
Though knowing Victory Works, most of their stuff usually gets discounted around 30%.

I took a look at this and if you want the Alaska version only with no markings that would be a fairly simple task. The only problem we here in the US have with the black version is it has no front headlamp. Oz when you get this look them over and see which one you like and I will do a plain one for you.......and/or whatever road name you would like.

Many thanks - very generous. Hope to pick these up next week in the Thanksgiving Steam sales (its an older DLC, so I am guessing it will be on special) - strange about the headlight??

Done the deed - just have to wait till Monday and I pick up my new pc to download... Out on sale at 17.50, or about 25 Wallabydo's !*roll-laugh*! Now busting to get my hands on Sherman - something must be wrong though, cos I actually have all of the dependencies *!lol!*

If I could take up your great offer, I am really just looking at a generic black that can be used all over - New Haven, B&LE when it arrives and even Kingwood. I know they are not proto for those lines, but it just gives some variety. I am not sure of the difference between Alaska early and late liveries - are they different loco colours or is it just the logos?

Enjoy the !*cheers*!

!*cheers*! & *!!thnx!!*
