Is there any idea if or when this DLC will be available again? I've heard and seen that this route had some very interesting items and breakthrough ideas.

I hope it gets revamped at some point. It's a great switching route that I need to run WAY more often! Even has a working swinging bridge!

There hasn't been anything official as far as I know. When Dovetail pulls something from the store they usually have a substantial reason behind it. I find it very unlikely they will throw it back up on the store anytime in the near future.

Have you thought of sending your question to DTG? After all, they're the only ones who can do something about it.

Once again I'm sure the problem is the names and licensing issue. There is a lot of stuff on there with various names that the legal drones are probably afraid of so I wouldn't hold my breath on seeing this again but as the Prof suggests the people to ask is DTG not that you will get anything worth while for an answer.

I was thinking the same thing that Buzz mentioned about licensing. It has everything from Budget to Fedex logos and decals on buildings and vehicles.

If it has all those licensing brands in there how was it payware to begin with without proper permission? Or was it something that wasn't as serious when it was originally released?

I just emailed them through Train-Simulator.com. That was the only place that I could think of. !*don-know!*

This issue in my opinion has become a huge issue in some people's minds. Back then hardly anyone thought twice about it. I suspect Pan Am is screwing this up by not licensing this stuff but I don't recall what else might not be generic on the route.

I remember when companies use to pay for the advertising in movies and stuff like that. Now they want you to pay them to use their brand. !*lho*!

Oh heavens there are signs all over the place. DTG would have to get permission from Circle K and ........all these PEOPLE!

Geez that sounds like an insurmountable task. To bad they can't just blank everything out and let us end users handle it.
