Road Traffic

I was wondering if there was a way to stop traffic on the road or at least slow it down with out using a Level crossing?

Try using ScaleRail . With it you can add the traffic later. I have the payware version and I don't know about the freeware version but you can check it out.

I think he means having traffic stop at a crossing. You can do this by placing a level crossing asset.

What I did for that. Is add just the lights from the SMM Crossings. Any one of the lamp sets work fine. Drag the lights into a building or undergrounds so you don't see them. And set it up as a normal crossing. No bells or anything. Traffic just stops.
