This may have been talked about before, however I missed it if it has. Should you delete the older version of a route when these updates come out or not? No one ever seems to say one way or the other.

The creator usually puts in a read me if it is safe to keep both files, but the best bet would be to delete it as you get loads of the same route showing up in your menu then.
Unless the update route overwrites the original folder of course. I remember this happenning to me with the Port Road when I downloaded it . I had 3 versions of the route, then steam released a dlc version so I ended up with 4. So yeah best bet is to delete the original unless the original is needed for different assets

The Assets are held in the Assets folders, deleting the route has no effect on the Assets if you just delete the Route's folder from the Content\Routes folder, or delete it using RailWorks.

But remember: If you delete the route folder all your scenarios will also be deleted.

So if you have any custom scenarios back up the Scenario folder of the route before you delete it. !*salute*!

Hi
Just be carefull if you use the package manager to uninstall a route i think it deletes all assets installed with that route whether there used in other routes or not.
