Ugh. Because fracturing the storefronts for content is a GREAT idea for customers ?!

Of course it's WONDERFUL for DTG since they don't have to pay Valve their 30% cut.

That remains to be seen if Steam is still the preferred delivery network of any DLC you purchase through DTG. Perhaps all independents are forced to sell through the DTG store, so DTG can take their cut to pay for Epic licenses etc, in one go?
Perhaps DTG has blocked any integration of non-official DLC? DRM on TSW is Denuvo, which is virtually impossible to circumvent.
We wait for the content creation tools and their EULA.

When you purchase your desired content, you will be presented with a Key which you can redeem on Steam. Simply open Steam, click on the ‘Games’ tab in the top left and click ‘Activate a Product on Steam’. After you’ve followed the instructions, your purchased content will be added to your Steam Library.

DTG are still using Steam as their delivery system so shall be paying Steam for the service.
