new member, and where do you buy this?

Unread postby DTandI » Fri Feb 25, 2011 11:06 am

Tired of all the Trainz glitches and did some googling.....found this sim. Been a member of the Trainz community since Trainz04 (if any of you came from over there, it's penncentral ;) ).

So where do you buy this? Can it be bought as a download?

thanks

Steam also allows Railsimulator.com (Publisher and Developer) to easily release updates and you can buy the official dlc for Railworks on Steam.
You must download the Steamsoftware from the link Hawk has posted and then register and search for "Railworks 2".
Don't worry, Railworks 2 is Railworks. *!!wink!!*

I hope we can soon welcome you as a Railworker. !*salute*!

EDIT: If you have enough money I recommend that you buy the Dash9 and SD70 packs right with the game.

they are fairly well layed out for reskinning. we have tons of reskins of the newest things! almost everything out has a reskin already so i guess it must be pretty easy. alwayse looking for people to do reskins!
the best purchases in my opinion are the SD70 sets 1,2,3, dash-9, 3DTrains F7's in warbonnet, and Golden Age of Railroading's Modern Boxcar set. all of these could use more reskings. railworks does have some problems but they are not big ones. like AI not beeing able to drive at high speeds when hauling a 50 car train. also did you know RW is getting fully functional multiplayer some time this year! it is something that is attracting alot of people to the sim!

You forgot to mention that buying it at FSPilotShop would still require a Steam account to register it.
