More GP and Universal Locomotives

Unread postby glenn68 » Fri Feb 18, 2011 3:21 pm

Good afternoon,
I have only spent a few months active with Railworks and really having a great time with the sim. I know that Railworks is still a newer program, but I do see a lot of momentum comming up with North American Railroads, however I only see very little with the selection of semi-modern locomotives. I am not complaning a bit but just wondering is there any developement of locomotives like the SD9, SD18, SD38, GP35, GP40 and General Electric's universal series ?
I wish I was capable to model up locomotives.

The GP40 has been confirmed. It will come with the Portland Terminal Route that G-Trax is developing. I agree that we could definitely use some U-boats though since they were pretty popular with the railroads for a while. The C30-7, SD45, tunnel motors and the FP45 would be great additions as well.

I agree. We need more engines and cars of every kind in fact. Wish i could model, and had the time to learn it in the first place.

Agreed - North American content is definitely too thin on the ground.
