RRmods Screenshot Contest Winners?

Unread postby ET44C4 » Sat Dec 03, 2016 11:08 pm

I don't want to sound impatient but it has been a few days after the contest closed and I have not heard a word about the winners. Have they been chosen yet?

Give him time! I sent him a pretty big PM about having a discord server for the site. I would assume he is taking a short little break to recoup after the contest, MAYBE give me a go-ahead with the discord, and update the file library.

Okay !!*ok*!! . I asked because I thought that maybe he private messaged the five winners and there was no talk about it afterwards.

How about I am working 7 days? Or how about I am aggravated at the way some of you act. I offer up some nice stuff and have to have arguments about it. Maybe I am just tired...

Bob, unfortunately I think some of the younger members on here don't realize that people have jobs and lives that don't always allow them to be on here everyday, multiple times a day. Maybe an age limit needs to be set on these contests?

This is exactly why I don't question why it takes time for this stuff. We all know the older guys on the forum got a life to live and a job to do, so let them do what they need to do!!

Well that would be hard to do. How do you know who is lying or not? You can type anything in the registration form. That would basically just make more for me to do. Too many young people only know "Instant Gratification". That will never happen here.

I do the best I can with time available. Just like at work which is coming up on 3100 hours for the year so far. 2,000 hours is a 40 hour week, figure it out.

So when I get to it I get to it, what can I say?

Looks like a simple question turned into an argument. *!rolleyes!*

Do you have any idea what you are talking about? I don't. How is an explanation an argument. You need to play trains and stop voicing your opinion where it is not needed.

Eh, I hate to say it, but he does sort of have a point.
Gorbi came along and said Bob have a ton of stuff to do to keep the site going, which is true.
ET44C4 says okay.
Then Bob also says he has a ton of stuff to do, with work piled on. Then he calls it an argument.
Then NStrains comes along and says we should set an age limit on these contests.
Zek comes along and defends Bob which makes sense. Jobs take a lot of time out of days. Do not question people when they are at a job and working to get money, some of which also keeps the website up.
Then ET44C4 says it's a simple question turned argument, and we end up here.
We are all at fault here. Even me, risking my own account's standing to go against the top administrator.
Bob makes sense. He has a job. He just made a mistake of saying it was an argument, which it wasn't too much of.
ET44C4 was impatient. Sorry, but you are. Bob posts the results of the contests into the contest thread, then locks it after some more comments are made. Remember this so this kind of issue does not come up.
NStrains said we should put an age limit on contests, which wouldn't solve much. I try to stay civil at 14.
Guys, all this time we have been, ahem, "Discussing", we could have been doing so much more. So please, go do something else with your time than post on this topic. Start building something, Finish that school or work report, post a picture to ARAE, just don't drag this into the darkest pits of hell that brings out the worst in people.

(Please don't kick me off RWA, Just wanted to make some points !!**sorry**!! )

First of all me say this, artimrj I total understand working at a job for long hours coming home and having to deal with crap like this so sorry for making things stressful. Everyone else says I'm "impatient" and that can be true at times. You may think what you want to think about me an this question, but I was the one who thought about it and asked it. I know what my intentions were and ya'll don't get. I'm fine with that.
