Throwing a train into emergency

For those who own the BN/BNSF SD40-2 DLC released when Marias Pass came out there's a scenario called "Toil and Troubles" or something like that. In the scenario the train automatically gets thrown into emergency brake simulating a broken airhose. Does anyone know how to make this happen when creating your own scenarios?

Thanks in advance. *!!thnx!!*

I don't know, but the scenario Castle Rock and Roll has the same type of event scripted.

It's been a while since I've been in the Scenario Editor, but there is an instruction, I think it's a Go Via instruction, where you can set a check box for e-stop. I saw it in someone else's scenario that I was analyzing. You set a marker where you want the e-stop to happen, then the Go Via instruction can trigger the event at that location.
As I said, I think that's how it's done. You can do something similar to induce wheel slip in a scenario. That's fun as well.

Hope this helps!

Best,
Marc

Maybe for you; not so much for the victim, though.

If you have Sherman Hill, take a run at Scenario #5, "Midnight Magnet". Wheel slip takes a part in the narrative of the scenario. It's actually pretty fun. There's an interesting narrative.
Best, !*cheers*!
