Hallo
I am trying to run this scenario. The player service is a Black 5 Steam engine. I am using Expert controls throughout the game.
Upon starting the scenario, I saw a strange behaviour of the Reverser and regulator. When you start , you put the reverser at 75% forward aand ease down as the speed increase BUT not with the loco in this scenario. You can only change the setting of the reverser if the regulator is set to "0". Then you change the reverser to whatever setting and open the regulator again.

I went immediately and look if I have actually select expert controls and I did.

Then I used RW Tools to change the loco to another Black 5, but still it is the same.

Any help? Maybe I am just stupid here.

Regards

Martin

I just checked it here and it's working OK so I suggest you verify local cache and if that doesn't work try uninstalling it and the re-acquiring it.

Thanks Buzz
I have verified the game cache and the sim reacquired some files. I then started the scenario again, but it seems still "broken". Even the brake pressure gauge stays at "0". It does not matter which application you make.
I will fiddle around to see if I can find it what is wrong.

Buzz, I found the culprit. There is a Class 37 on tow for assistance in case of a breakdown. This loco was in "idle" mode. I "killed" it in editor and the scenario work 100% now.

When I first read your post I was going to suggest that. If you have a diesel loco as a helper when your main power is steam you have to close the throttle so you can move the reverser. I have a scenario by Just Trains like that, and the instructions at the beginning of the scenario mention about closing the throttle.
