If I missed this, please point me in the right direction....

What is IN the Soo Line assets package? There's no picture or description at the "Blog" site I linked to.

Tori,

I used RWTools to see what assets where in the pack. Attached is a .csv I massaged a bit showing the custom content.

Thanks, Trevor. Quite a bunch of products, I see; should certainly be worth the few $$$. I wish there were a picture posted; us "asset hounds" like that, I think.

I tried viewing them with the RW_Tools Asset Viewer, but all the textures are aliased down one folder, so the viewer only showed the shape with the 'texture missing' texture.

I've thought of putting together a doc with screenshots of the assets but with over 500 that would take a long time.

I am working on a route schematic (see my post in the WIP forum) that will have screenshots of the major working areas with some of his custom assets, but certainly not all of them.

No problem; I will see them "Live" as soon as get my paypal account fixed (they're holding my $$$ hostage !*don-know!*) . I had no idea until I asked today that there were THAT many new assets. I expect that I will be quite appreciative of your efforts!

Thanks,
Tori

Tori

Judging from what I see when running the route there are masses of items I have never seen before so I would have thought the pack was worth it for US route builders.

I'll echo that, the basic route is awfully pretty and well done but it's practically a blank canvas compared to the rich, fleshed out feel it has with the assets added. That's a big part of why I'm hotly anticipating scenarios for it...as I am for the other superb routes out like your own Alleghany, the P&LE , Big Horn, Bay of Quinte, and others.

I am neck deep in learning scenario writing right now. I may not get any construction done on the route this month, but I'm going to conquer this scenario writer.
