Posted: Wed Aug 03, 2016 2:44 pmHe may have deleted it before you saw it. People delete their own posts quite frequently I know cause the deletes are listed in the Admin logs. The forum pointers may have not refreshed.

Posted: Wed Aug 03, 2016 4:29 pmI've noticed that the main page doesn't always show who made the last post in the announcements section when the thread is a sticky. ErikGustafson is the last user to post in that section in a thread that isn't a sticky.
Main page says last post was June 19th. ErikGustafson's post was on June 19th in the WP FP7 contest.
