Cajon Pass
these are some of the problems that i have found with the scenery and track on the cajon pass? for example look at the siding south of summit where the split in the tracks becomes joined again. now their is doubble tracks running up the west side of the split. and where the old SP tracks come beside the main they are doubbletrack there. i did some research on the SP doubbletrack and they have been there since the ATSF days before the merger in the mid 90's. also just south of this location where the track wraps around the hill there is a bridge and a small creek running! and where the road crosses the track nearby, it is pavement with a house along the road. and at summit the old SP track doubbles again! ok now look at victoryville, look how there is all the parking and grass beside the track. ok now tell me something dosen't look right when you look at the engine shed at barstrow. the long shed is closer to the main and there are more tracks on the other side. i think that RS.com should do an update on the route if they want to keep calling it a "modern" route. in the terms of the modern diesel era. maby one of us could get it right. it would take a while but i think it would be worth it.
