RSC Challenger Autonumbering

I've been looking at getting the Challenger recently for use in my Steam workshop scenarios, but I've noticed that most of the screenshots of the engine I've seen depict it with the same cab number- 3943 for the black version and 3979 for the Overland version. I have seen some images of the Challenger with other road numbers but they don't come up often. I don't own it yet, otherwise I could easily go into the scenario editor and try to give it a new number. For my "try before I buy," can any one tell me definitively if the newest version of the Challenger available on Steam has autonumbering?

I can't tell you for sure if the "newest" one has auto-numbering because I have had mine for some time however I can tell you mine has auto-numbering.
