US Electric route and rolling stock

Unread postby ES64F4 » Mon Oct 19, 2015 1:39 pm

Hi there,

I play train simulator for more than one year with european train (german, austria and swiss ones). I plan to ride some US route and I would like to know how many electric routes are aviable. I got New York to New Haven, Northeast corridor and North Jersey Coast Line. I have also downloaded Boston to New Haven. So I got 4 electric routes. Some other ones ?

About electric rolling stock, it's easy for NEC : Acela Express, HHP-8, AEM-7 and ACS-64. For NJCL, there are ALP-46 and ALP-45DP.

Does ALP-45/46 also run on NEC ? And does NEC Rolling stock also ride on NJCL ?

PS : Sorry for my poor English.

For anything running on the NEC, you will need to disable the alerter as it's not supported properly.

OK, thank you. I have read about this in manual. It's a shame those kind of feature did not work.

The ALP-46 is often seen on the NEC, but the ALP-45DPs are relatively uncommon on the NEC down to Trenton. ALP-46 occasionally run to and from New Haven for NFL Football Trains. No, Amtrak trains never run on the NJCL south of Rahway all the way to Bay Head, but are highly suited as AI traffic between Rahway and NY Penn.
