TS 2016 - When Is This Being Released?

I thought TS 2016 was going to be available today, 9-17.

Is that only for new purchases? If yes, when do we get the update?

Steam updates at 1pm Eastern. Do not try to do anything though until about 1:05 - 1:10 as things can always be a bit wonky the first few minutes.

Thanks for the heads-up. I'll wait until later in the afternoon, as I want to make extra backups of TS 2015 - just in case.

Well, I've gotten my keys to TS2016 from Green Man Gaming an hour ago. And put them into Steam to get a clean and fresh install, since I have renamed the old folder to TS2015.

So far, the version still is TS2015 !!! 2016 isn't in the store yet.

Steam Store refreshes here at 1900 local time, which is UTC +2 hrs.

The new items for Sept. 17 are in the store, but no TS 2016 yet.

So I aborted that fresh install and will restart it once the new content is out.

Yes, that way I'll get a fresh install of the new version, with all DLC. A huge download of 46 GB unfortunately. It expands to like 140 GB.

I have all versions since 2010 still under the Steam folder or archived on removable HD's.

Since I aborted the fresh install, I am having another computer updating TS 2015 right now. It is downloading 388.8 MB only. Will know what that is in a few minutes.

5 minutes later ... It seems some new assets have arrived. There is a BR155Pack01 and UPTurbinePack01, but no upgraded routes yet.

Yep, seems most people are running into that one (myself included). Ironically, those who got the code via GMG seem to be okay.

No, I took up the GMG offer, for it promised new 'updated' routes and new locos. The routes and British locos haven't arrived yet, nor the core updates.
Apparently, the key code from GMG is handled differently by Steam, though it says TS 2016 is already in my Steam library, while in fact it isn't.

Apparently they've got it sorted. Steam is now downloading 3 GB of TS 2016.
