Chicago Racetrack route & BNSF logos

Unread postby OldProf » Fri Aug 21, 2015 9:57 am

The more I think about it, the more I'm puzzled by the absence of BNSF logos from the passenger rolling stock included with this route. In the first place, RSC clearly has permission to use BNSF logos, since they appear in a great many DLC packs. In fact, secondly, they also appear in this pack on included diesel engines and freight cars. Yes, I know that this route was actually created by Chicago & Southwest Productions, Inc., but it is being marketed and sold by RSC and is, therefore, an RSC product. Isn't it?

Every time I run a scenario on this marvelous route, I find myself shaking my head at the stupidity and selfishness of BNSF. What's the matter with their public relations and publicity departments? Don't they realize that they are making fools of themselves in front of a large community of railroad simulator fans and of anyone and everyone who sees a still photo or video of this logo-less passenger stock? They should simply be ashamed of themselves.

The passenger stuff is all Metra and they are in the library. If you don't have the BNSF freight logos and sign let me know and I will give you a link to them also.
