Numbering Cars

My computer crashed a few weeks ago, and I lost all of railworks. My install files were mostly saved. I re-installed my C&O heavy green passenger cars. Buzz 456 had sent me instructions on how to number them. I had saved that. Buzz, it works fine and thank you, but I would like to be able to use the cars in other scenarios without having to re-number them every time. Is there a way to save the numbered cars so they would not have to be numbered again every time I wanted to use them in another situation?
I could not find a solution to this question posted yet on the forum.
