Ox to Pad Coal Drag 1

Hi! In this default route, is there a particular trick to completing Coal Drag 1? I get a red light just before Didcot Parkway 4 even though all the switches are aligned correctly. My arrival time at the red light is 1650hrs, which should be in plenty of time to complete at 1654hrs. I get no response from SPAD when I Tab for permission. I see that others have completed this with very high scores, so I must be missing something. Any suggestions? Cheers; Chuck F.
