Question about Castle Rock Route

The Castle Rock route uses city names from Colorado along the DRGW/ATSF Joint line. Was the Castle Rock route created using real DEM data from that area? If so, would it be possible to extend the route?

no this route was made purely by the teams imagination for the scenery and landscape

I thought the DEM was real but the track and stuff isn't accurate/real.

i think it explanes everything in the introduction on the menue of the route in game.

I did a good portion of the Castlerock and if I recall the route was created with dems and the track was laid with markers by Adam. I relaid the trackwork for the towns and added industry to enhance operations but not to protoype. The real names of towns I inserted but the rest from there is fictional. If you want to extend the route best advice is clone the route as working with the original will probably be overwritten in an update.
