Does anyone know where to find a tank car unloading structure? I thought I had one but can not find it. I have plenty of loaders but no unloader.

I don't believe I ever saw one. But if you find one please let me know I could use it also.

What does an unloader look like? I used to live by a facility that unloaded glycol tank cars and the unloading structure looked just like the 'loading platform' that's in the file library here.

Portland Terminal . . . haven't driven that in ages! But is that an unloader or a loader?

I don't think there is an actual load, unload. I think it's just static. Still cool. I have it in some of my routes.

Here's a nice layout from O'Briens Mobile, Ala route.

I could probably try to make one as a freeware item, but as of right now I have no idea of how to get it to work to unload a tank car or something like that, may I ask how one works in the sim?

I had the impression that tank cars were unloaded from valves at the bottom of the car, not from the top. I could be wrong but not really sure how they are unloaded. I am not looking for a realistic unloader but just simulated. Thinking about a two level structure with piping on the bottom level and top level giving access for crews to get to the top loading hatch. I thought I had one like that when playing with the NSAND v1 but that version I deleted long ago. It was not a NSAND asset!

A very informative video. Looking at some pics of tank car I noticed that some had a connection on top for unloading. And what I thought was an unloading connection on one was actually a wash out connection. So evidently both bottom unloading and top unloading are both used. Maybe dependent on load types. A bottom unloading structure would be nice, perhaps a little more complicated that the video.
