We are announcing a new contest. This will run thru the month of March until April 8. We want your most photographic picture. It needs to have a train in there somewhere but this should be a photo conveying a scene or a message. Please make sure and put a title on it as that will be part of the judging.

First prize will be a key to get the Miami - West Palm Beach route.

Second place will be a key to the locomotive of your choice.

How about a choice of first prize as many would have it like I do.

We get keys from developers, you get what we get. Should not look a gift horse in the mouth. I think it is great that these guys offer this stuff to us to give it away.

A Central Vermont passenger train with Grand Trunk and Canadian National equipment briefly shatters the tranquility of Lake Champlain on its way to Montreal. The train is currently in the State of Vermont but upon reaching the shore it will briefly be in New York State before crossing the border into Canada.
