African confusion in TS
Not having looked at the one and done African route available as DLC, I thought yesterday that writing a shunting scenario for it might be a good project. Then, confusion set in:
My TS installation includes one users' manual, which refers to the route as "PMB Ladysmith Route".
The route tab in RW_Tools lists "Pietermaritzburg to Ladysmith [v 1.5]" as containing only one scenario, a Quick Drive.
The needlessly redundant menus in TS itself include both "Pietermaritzburg to Ladysmith [v 1.5]", with only that lonely QD scenario, and "Pietermaritzburg to Ladysmith" with 3 Free-Roam scenarios, 1 Standard (from the Steam Workshop), 10 Career scenarios, and 5 Quick Drives.
Both of the route variations available offer a single electric engine in several variations and a meager selection of 3 freight and 2 passenger wagons.
In one area, the route includes 2 container loaders jammed together on a single track in an area that is in what seems to be the route's only non-electrified zone and is therefore useless with the stock provided.
This state of affairs leads me to the following questions:
1. Why two versions of the route, the presumably newer of which includes only one lousy scenario (and that a Q-D) and does everyone who bought this route have both versions?
2. Is any additional rolling stock available that is both typical of Africa and suitable for the route's 3'-6" narrow gauge tracks?
All attempts at clarification are welcome; those intended to create more confusion or offer fanciful SWAGs are not.
