Gamersgate DLC Sale

Unread postby Shaa » Sat Jan 31, 2015 8:38 am

Gamersgate has a sale for this weekend. Looks like 50-60% on almost everything from DTG. Selection is small but if there's something you just can't wait for here ya go.

Which route/loco is the best steal? I bought Marias + SD40-2 like 2 weeks ago and don't wanna get another one just yet.

There's nothing here that is a shockingly amazing deal - with possibly Miami already being available for $20. If there's something you absolutely want and they have, it's probably as good as time as any (F45 at $10 is a nice price). For the routes, if you plan on picking them up, you're usually better served for waiting on a steam or bundle sale and picking up a heavily discounted engine to go with it

(eg Norfolk southern + sd40 LHF as opposed to simply the NS Coal District)

It's really about the same as the Christmas sale for the routes. Most of the newer ones were only 50% on seam then as well. This sale just works for me as a Gamersgate customer I already had $15 worth of Blue Coins so I got West Rhine for a whopping $5.

Got Marias pass this morning for $19. I was going to buy it anyway, glad I waited for this sale.

I might wait for Miami to be on sale around the time after it's bugs are patched (before Natl Train Day) sale. Nothing really that I'm interested in..., except NS Coal + SD80 and Miami which I will get at later dates. Let's pray there will be a flash sale.

Been running the Miami run, from end to end, several times , and haven't found any bugs so far.

Only thing I've come across is one station has a misplaced car spawner, and the people walk around all over the place instead of simply on the platform. But otherwise, nothing game breaking.

I've heard about some other errors like misplaced Miami Central station, color light signals all lit, front number boards on P42DC, and a small texture/model bug on the Dash-8 front steps. I've seen people walking all over the place on Surfliner and London-Peterborough.

The Miami route itself is fine IMHO. It's the locomotives and even rolling stock that need fixing.

Purchased the Miami route. Haven't noticed any bugs. Missing textures and stuff I don't know about as I don't go looking for imperfections. Long as I can drive the trains that is all that matters for me.

Shame on you. You need to learn P&M and become a nit picker.
