At last - Amtrak Heritage Fleet Dining Car & Viewliners

Unread postby ChrisOnline » Fri Dec 19, 2014 8:20 am

Great to see an Amtrak Heritage Fleet Dining Car and Viewliner sleeping cars featuring in the new Miami - West Palm Beach route - first time anywhere in RW/Train Simulator as far as I have been aware (and I have searched high and low previously)

This now allows for realistic consist formations for several historic east coast and mid west Amtrak services including the NY to New Orleans Crescent (and of course the NY to Miami Silver Star, which features in the scenarios for this route)

With the release of Miami - West Palm Beach route, we now have everything we need for the Amtrak Auto Train consist... except the Amtrak Autorack car.

Not to be Johnny Raincloud but the Auto Train does not run between Palm Beach and Miami.

However that is fixable by a good route builder. I'm sure it will be done eventually.

Well, you won't have any terminal for it in Sanford. It terminates on the A Line north of Orlando.
