How many of the folks here run any of the British routes, for example, West Coast Mainline North, East Coast Mainline, Great Western Mainline, Settle to Carlisle, Somerset Dorset joint railway, London to Brighton?

I haven't tried any.
I figure the NA routes will keep me busy for the next few years.

I agree however last year RSC had a big sale so at that time I had every north american route so I picked up a few British routes.

I've run all of them.

Me too - fact is, I've lived beside four of them in real life so I know them quite well. Some of them are remarkably accurate

Picked up a few on sale myself. Run from time to time even tho I'm more into freight operations.

I frequently run the GEML. During my three years at RAF Station Wethersfield (USAF) in the late 60's, I used to take it all the time when I/we went to London for week-ends. Catch the shuttle in Braintree to Witham and then the BR to Liverpool St station.

I run them all Sir, some of them are the old UK Rail Sim default routes, East Coast Mainline, Great Western Mainline and Somerset & Dorset, the others are releases from a couple of years ago, is there any information you require??

Me too, I'm British but have lived in the US for the past 15+ years, so I "go both ways", so to speak!

There's a lot more diversity in British routes and locos. And with a good range of dedicated sound packs from AP (diesels/electrics) and SSS (steam), there is a high level of immersion in much of the activity.

Was there an underlying question or seeking information in your post?

I really enjoy the West Highland Extension, The Western Lines of Scotland, and Maerdy branch because they are so well done. I probably have at least 6 more but I rarely touch them.

Yes I have all those plus a few others. Also drive German and US routes.

I don't run very many British routes, but I also don't find much interest in most US routes either since they're not my favorite era, since myself, I always prefer vintage era over modern.
