Google Changes

It appears Google has once again changed their "Developers" content pages. Fortunately, in the lower right corner of the "code.google.com/Apis/console" page there is a link to the old format console page used in a lot of tutorials for getting Google APIs for TS2014.

There is one new quirk though, when getting "API Access", and then "Simple API Access", it doesn't automatically generate an API key. You have to select either:

- Create new Server Key
- Create new Browser Key
- Create new IOS Key
- Create new Andriod Key

Now the question (eliminating the later two choices...) which key, Server or Browser, does TS2014 want?

Thanks for the heads up. It's amazing how a small change might have a large impact.

Keep us posted on which method works.

does that mean if you already have an api key we have to create a new one or is this just for new users?

Just to follow this up, it is the "Create New Browser Key" option that should be used.
