Anyone have an idea on how to change the RPMs on the SD60Ms to the correct ones?

You will have to do it in two places, Simulation and Engine proxyxml files. The first one sets the idle and full throttle limits. The second one sets the same limits, except it used for the audio part of it. Once editing is done convert back to bin, and away you go.

Which file(s) should I open specifically, and when I open up the ones I think you're guiding me to, I get weird characters all over the place.

I told you the files to open up. I think your trying to open bin files, you have to convert them to proxyxml first by running them through serz first. Then edit them, save and convert to bin again with serz. If you don't know how to do it, attach said files on here and tell me the idle and full throttle RPM's, and I'll set it up. I don't have the loco and I don't know what sound pack you want aliased to it. I'll need that info also.

Since I can't seem to upload it on here, here's a link http://puu.sh/6PXhJ.bin and http://puu.sh/6PXkJ.bin. The sounds I've aliased it to are the SD60 sounds that come with the Eyein's pack, the RPMs should be 300-900 IIRC

Why can't you get it to upload here?

The easiest way is with RW-Tools.
AFter installing it, the first time you double-click on a .bin or .proxybin file, WIndows asks you how you want to open it. You select Rw-Tools, and from now on it is very simple: double-click on a .bin file, edit it, save it back. No need for serz.exe, RW-Tools takes care of it.

Ok, so I change the RPMs from 275/1025 to 300-900 like they should be, and the audio range plays at that. When I load it up in game, (yes I use serz.exe and converted them to .xml to .bin and back) it still has the old RPM. I'm going to have to buy a wig with the amount of hair loss right now

The Simulation bin was corrupt so that is out. But here is the engine bin for said loco.
