3rd Party Routes and .ap Files

Unread postby wisrailfan » Sat Jan 25, 2014 7:51 pm

If I download and install a 3rd party route that requires one or more "official" DLC routes from RSC, and that DLC route is now in the new .ap format, would I have to decompress that .ap file in order for the 3rd party route to recognize those assets?

Thanks!

NO!

The main TS engine is doing the "reading" of the files, and it knows how to read into .ap files, regardless of where it is finding the path instruction

Thanks. I thought that might be the case but wasn't 100% sure.
