Hi Everyone. How do you add things to the Quick Pick List?

Additional objects (rolling stock, houses, etc) get added to your Railworks folders when you download and install them. You then "enable" "sets" of those objects (also called assets or addons) using the "Object Set Filter". More on that: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y51ukQFUhqs

If you are referring to the red, blue, and green quick pick lists, you right click the asset you want to add, and then left click the color of the list you want to add the asset to.

Do all of those objects added to pick lists still vanish when TS shuts down?

For the red, blue, and green Browser Favourites icons,

Right clicking on the name of an object in the browser list will save the object in the first favourites list, twice into the second, three into the third and a fourth click will clear it.

Click the coloured favourite to display all the assets you have flagged as your favourites in this way. To totally clear a favourites list, right click on the icon.

I just did a shutdown and restart expecting them not to show.(Game, not computer) However the lists still have the saved items. It might of been that the list fails after a reboot/new windows session is started. I have my fingers crossed that RSC addressed this problem. I have kept a note pad beside my PC to write down my favorite assets used in route building,as the list would not save in the past. I would like to hear what others are reporting.

Oh gee, I forgot all about those! If those things work now I might have just found a reason to upgrade my editing environment to TS'14.

No - your selections are saved in your PlayerProfiles.bin file and the favorites list is restored when you go back to do some more editing.

PS
However, with further experimenting I see the PlayerProfiles.bin file is overwritten when you run any scenario, loosing your favorite's selections. So it appears the selections are saved only so long as you are working in and out of a certain route. Once you decide to drive a scenario, your selections are lost. ... disappointing ...

I just went back into the editor, all saved items are gone. It gives me a headache to constantly scroll through the object list when the saved list should work. And it would be nice if we could just click on an existing object, and its identity would come right up. So no problem is NOT fixed.
