Power/phone lines

I am at a loss to understand why the power and/or phone lines on Cajon Pass drop from the poles to the ground and then right back up to the poles again. I can understand if there was a bridge, tall vehicle xing, or something like that, but the lines go underground every 2 - 3 poles in some sections. They even overlap sometimes. Anyone know what that is all about?
*!question!*

Quality Control has never really been a big thing with RSC. They figure we will buy their product anyways (and we do).

Isn't this one of the routes that came out with the original RailSimulator xx years ago, and is therefore over six years old?

Yes it is. Very old, a relic.

I would like to see the RSC team revisit the CP route, maybe give it a Donner makeover. The RSC team has come along way since CP. Compared to the quality of routes today the CP should be on RSC's wall of shame. !!jabber!!

Very few games get any kind of updates. We should be generally happy for what we get for free. Would you be willing to pay for a remake?

I believe Searchlight Simulations is planning a Cajon remake.
I could be wrong but I'm sure I saw it mentioned somewhere.
