It's a good thing they aren't censoring Farcebook, because I was neither kind nor tactful about the situation.

Oh but they are. They've deleted comments from me about this situation and past situations before.

Rich_S wrote:Add me to the list of not working. Not only are the Dash 9's missing, but the Wood Chip hoppers that come with the Dash 9 pack are also missing. I've verified the game cache four times and it reports all files are verified, but still no joy *!sad!* The only Dash 9's that are currently still working are the ones that come with the Donner Pass route. Thankfully I have a complete Rail works backup, so for now I've gone off line, deleted my current Dash 9 folder and copied in the backup. The Dash 9's are back along with the Wood Chip hoppers. I think I'll just stay off line until someone can confirm that RSC has this issue fixed for all users !*hp*! !*!grrr!*!

Same exact situation for me too. Missing assets (both C44-9W and hoppers, but Donner Pass C44-9's are working fine)

If i knew the answer to that question, i could sit on a tibetan mountain and have the world come to me..
1. steams verification and download subsystems are obviouslky broken when it comes to railworks.
[...].

Must respectfully disagree...Valve's backend is normally very stable and reliable. The problem is Railworks. The code is obviously mess, since every update breaks one or multiple things. !*not-ok*!

all right, so, i connected with the London server, . After deleting the dash 9 folders i started railworks and cleared the cache, after which i verified the files again and it was found that 432 files were missing.. After downloading the files, I started RW again and selected the c9-44w CN version for the victorville free roam.. on loading the scenario, i recieved the usual assets missing error and couldnt run the scnario.. Londong also failed..
Topping that, theres still no bnsf dash 9 dlc re-download.. very disappointing..
I'm beat..

Somehow, I got put on the South Africa server.... I WAS on Dallas, but I don't see Dallas anymore. So, I'm going to Denver. Should be a quicker download from Denver to Oklahoma... probably....

I keep mine set to Romania. Fastest speeds I've ever seen on Steam! All the way from New York. !*roll-laugh*!

I want to say Steam distributes the files they receive to all the servers. So no matter where you go the Dash 9 will be corrupt. I also saw a post on the RSC Facebook where they have stated people have been having problems, and there's a simple solution. To bad they don't mention it in the post....

EDIT: Facebook post.

We have had some reports that a few of our fans are having problems with the Dash 9. We are aware of the issue and there is a very simple solution to fix the situation. If anyone would like some advice please drop our support team an email and we will be more than happy to help. Email to support@railsimulator.com
