Train Simulator is extremely boring for a casual user. Even I get bored when I don't have anything to keep me busy, like... a... FREAKING ALERTER!

I thought BNSF dude ditched us for Run 8? He's back? !*don-know!*

yeah, RW can be boring at times, I'll admit an 8 hour run, you can go out and have dinner. But, then when you get back, you have a "SBHH" has happened. !!*ok*!!

As if--
As much as I like prototypical operational details. The fact there's no access to Dev tools to make more than the GEVOs that come with it is a major turn off. That, and its 1999 graphics engine is awful. Its 2013, and we have CryEngine3 to live up to.
I can understand all the reasons why it is the way it is, so I won't b**ch about it too much.

Then on the other hand, we have RWs god AWFUL game optimization. Ugh. Can't win with train simulators. Back to Battlefield I go.

Once the Vote is over, you can lock this post and the other one if you like. No point of discussing after that. Multiplayer is not mandatory, just an opinion weather its a good idea or not. AND There will be no further discussion after April 1st. Got it? Good.

Not ever? Wow!

That being the case I feel deeply honoured to have been witness to such a pivotal moment in trainsim forum history. :D

With a pair of travelers at each windowpane.
I may sit beside you all the journey through,
Or I may sit elsewhere, never knowing you.
But if fate should mark me to sit by your side,
Let's be pleasant travellers; it's so short a ride."

What is the deal here? I don't really have any strong feelings about this one way or the other, but I have to wonder at the evangelism and passion from those who don't like the idea, as if those who do are a personal affront to them. Did this become a political topic without me noticing where there are only two positions and whoever holds the other one is wrong and stupid?! Why ask when people will stop posting on any topic that interests them? Obviously, those posting, including those posting to suggest it's a bad idea, aren't being forced to post. There is interest in the discussion. When there isn't, it will die out the way of all threads. I don't see this sort of question posted on threads where the moderators have interest.

If you don't think the subject has merit, don't read it. That's what I do for LOTS of threads here. I never read them and then ask when people are going to stop talking about it.
