OK, I didnt get the SBHH , but,, I deleted the _sbn files, reverified, started rs2012, chose BSB and selected the C44-9 scenario. The scenario errored out with missing assets including the c44-9s. Choosing to edit the scenario I noted that no version of the dash 9 was available from the seletion menu. and no version of the dash 9 was listed in the asset activation fly out on the right side of the screen..
I am seriously beginning to think that they have succeeded in destroying railworks..

wish i could agree here, but the machine upstairs had and has nothing on it except the basic railworks package with the rsc addons i've purchased.. no repaints no nothing, and that one doesnt work either.. This is where i tend to think we got hit with a double whammy.. RSC messed up and steam is also messing up, and we are experiencing the results..,

Add me to the list of not working. Not only are the Dash 9's missing, but the Wood Chip hoppers that come with the Dash 9 pack are also missing. I've verified the game cache four times and it reports all files are verified, but still no joy *!sad!* The only Dash 9's that are currently still working are the ones that come with the Donner Pass route. Thankfully I have a complete Rail works backup, so for now I've gone off line, deleted my current Dash 9 folder and copied in the backup. The Dash 9's are back along with the Wood Chip hoppers. I think I'll just stay off line until someone can confirm that RSC has this issue fixed for all users !*hp*! !*!grrr!*!
Cheers,

Lets see, I could work on aerodynamics for fsx ( major trig and calculus ), or look at four walls since rw is dead at the moment..
Yup, this sucks..

I got all my Dash9's back at last. It is not a fix what I've done I just had a copy of the old dashpack01 folder so I removed all trace of the updated one and used my old folder. But RSC really need to sort out it out so things like this don't happen because if they keep messing things up like this once RSC's PR guys start getting all those gamers onboard then RSC are going to be in for one bumpy ride.

Hi Pam,
Yes, they will show up in your DLC list, but what ever RSC did in the update made them unusable for most of us. I had the same problem, they show up in the DLC list and when you view the folder in Windows Explorer, the folder and files exist on the hard drive, but for some unknown reason, the game does not see the Dash 9 pack. Sadly, If you do not have a backup of your Dash 9 folder I fear you maybe without your Dash 9 locomotives for awhile *!sad!* The only way I could get mine back, was to delete the updated folder and copy in my backup.

Rich S.

The only thing I am wondering is "how many times will it take for RSC to shoot itself in the foot before they bleed to death"? Lucky I was not expecting the update until Thursday.

If i knew the answer to that question, i could sit on a tibetan mountain and have the world come to me..
1. steams verification and download subsystems are obviouslky broken when it comes to railworks.
2. RSCs update was done poorly and mismanaged in production so that what we the customers get is a mish mash of files downloaded causing a wide and veried matrix of errors centered around the dash 9s.
3. as usual, RSC is treating us all like bubble headed blonde bimbos in our verying levels of rail and computer knowledge and not listening to anything we report..
4. they screwed up..
