The new hints make the Powder River Basin more than likely.

The first guy is Thomas Campbell, Scottish poet: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Campbell_%28poet%29

Both gentelmen have something to do with Pennsylvania. James Mitchell Was from Allegheny County Pa. (Pittsburgh).
But both had something to do with Montanna and Wyoming.so I have to say Powder River, since RSC has their paywares (SD70MAC and ES44AC) which is used in the powder river basin.

James Mitchell Ashley was also the president of the Ann Arbor railroad, Yeah they are doing the Annie !*YAAA*! (I wish *!lol!* !*roll-laugh*! ) sadly I'd have to agree, it's starting to look more and more like they are doing the powder river route. Another route filled with Evo's and Aces and mindless strings of Bethgon hoppers !**duh*!!

I agree with you. Its smart play for RSC since they can sell all three versions of the SD70.

People who think the NEC is boring will love the PRB.

If it's the PRB my hopes to get back into this game some more will be delayed. At least there will be the London - Brighton Route...

Have to agree - PBR is even somewhat boring in real life, once you get over the actual operation of quad track bi-directional operations. Virtually no switching, other than a maint facility at Bill - it is all just unit coal traffic; in , round the coal loaders and out. Cant see how RW will handle the nose to tail block running. I have some pics taken on my first trip in 99 of headlight after headlight into the distance on all lines - an amazing sight.

I've seen a lot of negative comments about that SD-70, and with their lackadaisical approach to updating the zDP route, I cant help but wonder if this really is a good move on their part, or just a hope and a prayer enough people will buy it unknowingly in order for them to get by..??

Cant be any more boring than Montana/Wyoming.. Spent five days on a train a few years ago going from connecticut to here in oregon abd of all the states we crossed, montana and wyoming were the flattest most boring states i'd ever seen. Not even corn to look at..

have to disagree, Montana is some of the most beautiful country in the US, we loved driving there
wyoming is not flat by any means

Thats the sad part. I know they can be, but where that train went left me praying for Utah, which we never got too cuz Portland isnt that far south.. Coming across Idaho and down the columbia river gorge was spectacular.. . Oh and just remembered, we didnt hit the not so flat parts of wyoming till after dark so that didnt help me seeing it either..

Poweder River Basin, slow frieght, consist of 130 coal hoppers and two engines. Huh-raaaaah !*not-ok*!

If it is PRB, atleast they can't stuff the route up. It's like a sandpit with 4 tracks.

which would make it easy to produce, hardly any trees, little scenery except fields
