Defrag your drive and see if that helps.

Still waiting for all the stuff to install before I can run TS2012... Why does steam insist on reinstalling the latest version of directX and .NET every time I download a game? I already had dX 10.something installed and .NET 4.

Can anyone tell if they have fixed the ES44AC? I remember doing a run in that a couple days ago. I was going down a 1.2% grade with about 50 loaded coal cars. 2 ES44s up front and an SD40-2 in the back, throttle was idle, reverser was forward, all brakes were 0%, and I was SLOWING DOWN. !**conf**!

I thought it was the second coming of Trainz12.

Same here! I was disappointed at the result.

The manual for Horseshoe curve did come down however. Go figure.

Has anyone been able to drive the Hitachi? It just sits there no matter what I do to the controls. I figure there is something I am missing - just haven't figured out what yet.

Ok, I'll see if that works.

The new graphics being applied to all routes...the cab sway (and sway in external view!!) is applied to ALL locos and cars (even non default) from what I can tell... And its great...you can feel every little bump when you start out as you run the slack out of the cars...every switch you pass through gives you a little nudge as the wheelsets float through...and you wonder if you'll pick the points and derail.

The new SD40-2 and amazing sound package! They fixed the cab! Now the ammeter has a dynamic side! The new ES44 sounds! Unbelievably good.

The brakes on US equipment are vastly improved!

I'm in overload...this is far beyond what I was hoping for. They REALLY outdid themselves. !*brav*!

I'm verifying cache right now just to make sure I've got it all.

So far the only negative thing I've found is some of the old ES44 paints dont work...the cab windows are corrupted.

OK my operating system is Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition with SP-3 all updates to this date of today's. Now my graphic is integrated graphics which run on my laptop, Compaq Presario M2105CA (older version). The integrated graphics is ATI Mobility Radeon XPRESS 200M and more likely with the problem to run the program of RailWorks 3 - Trainsimulator 2012. I wonder if I can roll back to RailWorks 2 which have no problem to run this program.

Also I did try to turn the check on in the box for Train Simulator 2012 Game Engine Technology and the error message came up on the screen. I am not sure what it is? Anyway here is below:

RS_TXT_WRAPPER_SETTINGS_NO_PS_3_0

Any idea with this line above. So I did check again to see if the check in the box for Train Simulator 2012 Game Engine Technology still have the check in the box but unfortunately it turn off itself after the error above.

I had a strong feeling that I will NOT be able to simulate this new program, RailWorks 3 - Trainsimulator 2012 on my laptop. Hopefully someone here can tell me how to roll back to RailWorks 2?

Thank you for asking.

Has anyone found out what the Multi-Core checkbox on the settings page does?
