Just curious but why do you need Windows Update to work to get RW installed?

i have no idea. but i read it on steam some where that you need the latest microsoft updates for the game.

Not true, Steam will install the runtimes it will need, as will RW when it installs.

!**conf**! yes but on my game if i hit the 9 key to bring up the map the game crashes with out the updates. but with windows updates it don't crash !*hp*!

I have been putting it off for months because the world was supposed to end anyway...

Actually I'm supposed to be writing an ISO standard today and I'm bored out of my skull, writing things like "ONF monitoring and review should be performed at planned intervals or in reaction to a specific change in the organization’s contexts, to ensure its continuing suitability, adequacy and effectiveness."

So I find it difficult to concentrate and ooooooh, bright shiny object!
