Interesting video ... It seems to me that the sound of the SD40-2 has been improved, no ?

I am having to download the podcast. The stream is too choppy.

I'm absolutely floored by the podcast and trailer! In the podcast, look at how the oncoming train's light subtly lights up the cab at 9:31... that is just beyond cool.

oh i am also wondering if the B-SB route has been slightly updated, i really liked that shot of victoryville with all the new buldings and scenery.

2GB RAM is far more reasonable.

I might need to spring for a pair of Xeons - I currently have a pair of dual-core 2GHz chips (quad-core), but swapping out CPUs is easy these days. I think I saw pairs of 3Ghz dual-core chips on eBay. The quad-core chips are really pricey, and I am not sure if there is any benefit to going all the way to an 8-core system. But I will wait and see how well it runs with what I have before I mess with any of this..

I meet all the requirements except the CPU speed (I think my vid card is Pixel Shader 3 capable). Mine is only 2400MHz. Maybe I should go into off-line mode and never update again, or just uninstall RW.

Unless there is a hard-coded CPU speed check when you start RW3 (and this is almost never the case), you have nothing to worry about. Sure it might be a little laggy, but there's nothing stopping you from giving it a shot.
