I believe he might be referring to HSC's optimization to use RW3's features.

Very well done RSC team, the PRR Middle Division route looks and preforms great :D

The route coupled with the new features of the sim really make it an outstanding route. So far I've only spotted two minor errors, of which most users will probably never catch *!!wink!!* Something else I found to be very impressive is the "Horseshoe Curve Observer" Free Roam Scenario. Talk about virtual rail fanning, nicely done RSC :D In my personal opinion I give this route two thumbs up !!*ok*!! !!*ok*!! and a giant *!!thnx!!* for the Rail Works 3 Train Simulator 2012 update.

Regards,
Rich S.

I live in Quebec City, and let me tell you that this winter scenario feels exactly like driving to work in December.
So realistic I started bitching about the bad weather and the idiot drivers who get stuck.

One little thing that bothers my ocd would be, the radio in the GP9, the radio chatter mentions an Amtrak train.... *!rolleyes!* Just a little too early. Just a tiny thing though, doesn't keep me from enjoying the route. Kind of gives me that feeling of "I wish I had been alive in 1950 to see Altoona like that!" Back when the position lights were getting installed, not replaced. Great route, I bought it the moment it came out, there went my weeks money... :P

Yep, its a GP7, but on the in-cab EMD builders plaque (just above the speed recorder gauge) it says its a "GP9"...

I’m really enjoying this route, just find it frustrating a can drive around at 40+ fps in free roam, but soon as I load a scenario im jumping between 14 and 20 changing graphic settings doesn’t seem to effect the results at all, only one that hasn’t caused me grief is the 3rd scenario.

!DUH! Stupid me, I almost typed GP7 but got confused by another GP9 I have installed.

This sounds VERY good! Someone on the RSC facebook asked "Is there any news on upcoming PRR locos??"

The reply from RailSimulator.com was: "Look out for announcements really soon!"

I think I'm starting to like TS 2012.. Each update makes it more and more playable.

Sign of that.. Bill starts tinkering.

So.. Something I am fixing / tinkering with.

Hint: It's Noon.. It's Summer.. Do you know where YOUR shadows are at in Altoona? I know where mine are at now. :)

Still not seeing that , I do'nt see that it 's any more playable now than it was yesterday at the same settings ?

It's gotten better in performance a lot gradually. Knocked a few settings back (water/particle destiny) and it's playable. Plus the FXAA injector. So I can run at SSAA 1x2 now and grab some extra performance that 2X2 steals from me.

I also sent in the Azimuth settings to RSC.. Hopefully it'll trickle down to the end users.
