Excellent so far!

There is a DEFINITE performance hit though with all the goodies enabled.

With everything cranked and 8x MLAA/MSAA I'm getting about 30fps on Rich Garber's routes which normally would be in the 60fps + range.

However, the tradeoff is well, WELL worth it. Finally all of the buildings in Rich's routes cast beautiful shadows which just adds SO much to experience.

Ok, for those of us on 64 bit system, are y'all having a problem getting Steam to install RW3?

Well, it looks wonderful! Loaded fine on WIN 7 Pro 64...

However I can't find my tree tools????

Nothing in the docs about it either. More searching ensues.

Ok I had to verify my RW files, and I dunno if it's downloading RW3 at the same time, I guess we'll see. I hope this doesn't get rid of my Cabin Creek route or third party add ons.

SMMDigital wrote:I'm at work @%&_*?$&! For those of you who are running it, how is performance? Also, if ypu have any SMMDigital level crossings installed, could you verify for me if the shadow models are visible? If they are, you should see dark round cylinders behind the flahers amd dark boxes behind the bucks.

Not sure on the level crossings...haven't checked....but on my system, there's no appreciable performance hit at all....running a dual core AMD Athalon II X2 at 2.8 Mhz with 4 GB of ram and a 1 GB ATI HD 5750 Vapor board. Seems good to me....the rocking cab isn't too overdone, and the superelevation isn't REAL noticeable from inside the cab...overall, It's pretty decent, and all my add on routes seem to run fine! Now just waiting for the Horseshoe Curve to come out tomorrow and I'll snag it.
