The F3 is gone, and well actually it does something else, it gives you a mini F4 HUD. You can see signal states on the 2D map. You also just click the switch instead if SHIFT clicking them to throw them in the 2D map. And now you can not use the 2D map when writing a scenario to do things like pre set the switches.

When on WCML I don't get signal lights on the 2d map, all I get is the signals name and designation.

The F5 parameters are only displayed when neither F4 or F3 HUD's is being used. And with most engines still having incomplete and/or non-working instruments one has to switch often to adjust controls, check their status and continue driving, without any reference as to track position and signal indication.
This is one of the reasons I like to drive with FOV=85, to be able to see the handles on the control stand/the control desk while watching the track ahead.

With the keyboard I can manage o quickly switch between display modes, but how are XBox controllers supposed to handle this?

Sorry no use for an xbox controller here. I think that was the dumbest thing they added. A wireless keyboard and mouse work great on the TV while sitting on the couch for me.

The Sherman Hill route uses ScaleRail HD if I am not mistaken. Are my eyes deceiving me when I find that the track flimmers more and has more moiré than other routes using Scalerail?

Also concerning Sherman Hill: are those half height signals along the mainline really prototypical? The signal heads are ofetn well below cab level and in prototype not vandal proof or can even be buried in snow.

Still concerning the Hill, the superelevation is really well done, gentle and smooth transitions into a prototype cant to judge by the photos posted in the Donner Pass thread.
Hopefully RSC will get the Pass to the same level as the Hill. The Hill even beats the Curve when it comes to smoothness. The Corridor is the rough one out.

What about the working EOT device on Sherman Hill? Is it exclusive to the new cars?

Its not really a problem - I live in Montana and I've seen lots of NS units in MT and WY.

Couple of nice things I've noticed;
If you go into E-brake, you can and will get wheelslip, requiring sand.
Dynamic brakes work! Came own the west side of Donner and didn't need any air at all.
Some of the weather patterns actually vary storm density.
Lighting looks more like the sun is in the right place for NA.

I hate the ES44AC horn, the fact that they didn't upgrade the roads or crossings. Other than that, I LOVE TS2013! !*cheers*!

If you have a .rwp file, how can you download it to the train simulator 2013 system?

Look in the main Railworks directory; find and open utilities.exe. Then when it opens, look for the tab marked 'package manager'.

Meh, I find it quite enjoyable to use actually and simple to use. I especially like the force feedback(vibration) that is given through the controller when going over junctions/bumps in the track. Adds another level of immerstion for me! !!*ok*!!
