Completed the Sherman Hill scenario called ` running the #3 track `. Great scenario, and great to see the smooth fading from light to dark when entering/exiting a tunnel. Having a blast !!*ok*!! Its great to take some time off from route building.

Back to Sherman .

Also note that some of the old standard routes have had their names changed. SB&B is now Cajon Pass.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but are they going to offer Sherman Hill as a separate DLC as well or do I have to buy the whole package?

I agree on that, it is a huge step back - it does not reload quickly for me (about 30 sek) and since I develop add-ons I need to clear the blueprint cache 200 times a day. If you ask me the new menu is just one big mess.

Well...I disagree. Overall its much more organized with the new menu structure, and dropping the launch window. Having to restart the game following graphics tweaks/blueprint delete is an insignificant issue for me.

For developers I understand...but there are ways around it. Use a batch file like Otto's old "-DELETE-PAK.bat" file and run it from the railworks folder structure. Thats what I do when I work on my route. I'm sure there are other ways too.

Yeap, as developer of enhacements since the Feb update the behavior of game had changed and I was having to delete blueprints almost every edition of files with RWTools (hundreds and hundreds, if not thousand, of times a day).

So far I tested, my old friend "CLEAR cache.bat" file (from within 2-Clickz feature pack) still works fine and flawlessly, only 2 Clickz and yep done! And you don't need to exit and restart the game ever: just exit the scenario, clear cache (couple secs from 2nd time ahead) and continue to play.

So far all I have played with is Sherman Pass. I graduated HS in Cheyenne and use to watch trains in that yard all the time from the viaducts that cross it. I like this route a lot so far. Of course you can see some things alone the way that could stand some fixing, but this stuff isn't a science just yet. Great job RCS and thank you
