Actually, I'm pretty sure that you bought the same Dash9 being discussed here, but as a pack-within-a-pack (which, now that the issue seems to be resolving, is not the same as a pig-in-a-poke).

I'm also pretty sure that RSC and Steam have gotten to the bottom of this problem and that everyone who owns a copy of the Dash9 DLC (however purchased) will soon discover that the fix is in--provided, of course, that the Steam-RW installation is connected to the internet. Just like the rest of us, Steam-RSC sometimes discover that what goes in to the pipeline is not necessarily the same as what will come out.

Not yet for me. Uninstalled D9 package, verified, still no go. I can now turn them on in the Object Browser, but they are not in the engine selection list. Before I could not even turn them on because they did not exist in the RSC developer slot.

Another person suggested trying the London server, which I did and still no joy *!sad!* Honestly this is two days wasted now trying to get this pack to work, so at this point I'm throwing in the towel, going to my Dash 9 backup and going off line. I agree with Jerry on this latest snafu, we should all go off line and wait for RSC to send us a email stating the problems have been fixed. If they can send us emails advertising the latest products, then surely they could send us emails advising when problems with the Dash 9 pack and the Donner Pass route have been corrected?

Rich S.

Honestly, don't hold your breath for Donner Pass. At this point I think they will not release any fixes for it.

Well I got the update ans everything worked fine for me. Just out of curiosity I checked for the Bluebrint.spk and spk.md5 files and they were red like so:
Dash 9 issue.jpg

So I went into the game and saw this:
2012-07-27_00001.jpg

So my guess it has nothing to do with those 2 files being red. But just a guess on my part.

OK, now I see something odd. I do not have the Blueprints.spk files. Just the old Blueprints.pak.

The solution probably is near.
The DLC BNSF Dash 9 Pack has disappeared from the Steam store.

No, I'd say they've finally realized over half of us using and buying this DLC cannot get the Dash 9 to show up in the game and they better suspend the sales before the lawyers start showing up at the door.

Anyone wanting to get a lawyer for this should actually use that money to visit a psychiatrist and get a life *!mad!*
