Other than that, though, I have to say I'm really liking 2013. The new map features are much more user friendly, and it's hard not to be happy about cruising along locked at 30 FPS ALL the time! I ran a scenario on China Clay, one of my favorites, just to make sure that non-RSC route would work, and also Durango-Silverton. Raildriver is working again after the change to the script I made (RailworksProc2 changed to Railworks), so I'm happy about that! I really like the new HUD for driving the steam locos, much better info on it for that kind of driving, particularly the nice brake gauge. Really good stuff for the most part. A shame they break things too, but I expect they'll fix what they've broken. They darned well better fix what they sold me themselves so that it works!

I have the same problem. I am going to sit back and see what RSC will do. I may send out a email to them when I get home from work. None of my RSC SW1500's will work. I have yet to check what other RSC llocomotives are not running.

Most likely all of the DLC pages and files have not been updated to be distributable with Train Simulator 2013 and so Steam will not download them no matter how many times you reinstall or verify the game cache because according to the servers the file is incompatible. Give them a chance to get everything updated before you start cursing RSC like they've stolen all of your DLC from you and you have to buy it all again.

The game has only been out 24hrs, give them a chance to catch and work out all the bugs fella's !!howdy!!

That is basically what RSC told me in an email this morning but I still have to ask why on earth didn't they make an effort to get those updated properly prior to releasing the TS2013 upgrade? There is no excuse for this! None of us who are having this problem should have to tolerate this. Its a screw up and they should be on to fixing it immediately so we can all go on and explore the new changes to TS2013 with our paid DLC.

I do hope everyone who is having problems with their DLC have emailed support at RSC about it instead of waiting to see if/when there is a fix. The more people RSC Support know are having an issue, the higher the priority it will become. Thats how the Dash 9 got fix so quickly in two weeks! (sarcasm intended.... :D )

Absolutely correct. I am going to sit back and enjoy Sherman Hill while RSC comes out with a fix.

Bob, can't even open the route in editor, so it is definitely nothing to do with scenario files. I reinstalled my entire assets folder from my backup in case that was where the problem lay, but still no difference.

Just a thought has any one considered that it may not be RSC that messed up but it could be steam themselves?

Doesn't matter. If Steam is the problem it is still RSC's duty and responsibility to deal with their subcontracted service provider to rectify the problem. In my business we use a lot of subcontractors. If any of my clients are unhappy with the work it is my responsibility to deal with the subcontractor to fix the problem, not my clients responsibility. Same holds true for RSC. We bought their software through their digital delivery service (Steam). Our licence to use their software and DLC is with RSC not Steam. Sorry, I am not going to give them a pass on this.

I really think anyone who is having this problem should email support@railsimulator.com and let them know of the problem. I know they know about the problem but the more complaints they get, the quicker they will work on it. As well, it will give them an inventory of the effected DLC products to look into.

The missing DLC is coming through now. Restart Steam if your not getting it yet.

I just saw the download after I finished my previous post. I can confirm that the the CN widenose is indeed working on the scenario I tried. I havn't tried the other ones yet but if all is working then I'll give credit were credit is due to RSC for addressing the issue so quickly. !!*ok*!! !!*ok*!!

Its just unfortunate that we had through this problem in the first place.

Lets hope everyone's problems are corrected.

I think all of the rolling stock from the Widenose SD40 pack was moved to the SD75 pack. That may be what's contributing to this problem.

Thanks for the notice that the files were returned. All is better now. And credit to RSC for returning the file quickly. However.... should not have happened in the first place. Though I have a long way to go to validate all scenarios I suspect this will fix most. Also noticed a large FPS increase in most routes, a surprise.
