Rich S.
Yes, Sherman Hill uses ScaleRail.
RAILSOHIO wrote:EVERY single version of Trainz had to be purchased new. Yes there was a discount on many of the versions,to registered users. I think RSC doing a core game update free,is a great thing. That is assuming the update does not "break" anything. I would love to see the new routes as separate DLC,and priced low for existing users. I have no interest in foreign routes or rolling stock,in any train sim. I have decided that expecting lighting, physics, etc, etc to be perfect is not going to happen.Believe me,I really wish I COULD "bottle the air" on freight cars. But his is still the best sim there is. One thing that does bother me,is why Railworks and Trainz insist on dating themselves by attaching a year to the title of the product. How many other games(I hate that word) do that? Not that I want to see Railworks: "The Year of the Goat" edition.

b737lvr wrote:Well I am done with Rail works, Rail Simulator dot com for that matter. Its gotten stupid, really stupid. This is no longer a simulator, if you can even call it that in the first place. It's become a pit of money for them. Every add-on they have released has been below average standards, broken, and over priced. They never live up to their own words, constantly lie, and just make me feel like an utter fool. I have been using Railworks since it was Rail simulator over 4 years ago. I am just done with it. I now use MSTS and will be adopting Run 8 when it releases this month, taking FULL advantage of it's Multiplayer, conductor functions, dispatch, and defect detector.
Here's the catch to this. IF AND ONLY rsc announces updated physics will I reinstall railworks. But that feature is rather doubtful, considering RSC is too afraid to even leave their own safety zone in fear of breaking all of their DLC, which they end up doing anyway.
I will still be around, but don't expect any new horn mods from meSorry! The community is great, but RSC is the spinal cord and its broken. I just saved myself 25 GB today

For the record, I am not leaving because the upcoming features, but because RSC has made its plans clear to me that they don't plan on making this a true simulator. I am done with it because of the broken physics, lack of support, CONSTANT glitches and breaking updates. It's just become unbearable.
See ya, dont come back. Last thing I want is someone who puts random words in RSC's mouth. They never said they are dumbing the physics down, where on earth did you get that from!?!? In-fact they announced improved physics and more realistic systems!
I think you need to go back and re-read the OP.
Advances in control options and menus, such as Quick Drive, will make the experience more accessible to newcomers while offering enhanced gameplay to experienced train simmers.
