The NERW uses a default UK texture called Plowed Fields. Everything is default except for the 8 or 9 Rich made. The files have to be added to your texturing.bin file.

Are these plowed field raked in different directions? If so how may I use your ground textures in my route, and how might I obtain them?

I am already heavily tied to PT, and I am trying to keep it at that. :D

That is strange and I am out of ideas but I think I remember someone else having the issue of missing painted textures since the upgrade to TS2012 and had posted it here in the forums. I do not know if they found a solution or not but you may want to try searching through the forum about that issue. **!!bang!!** !!**sorry**!! could not be of more help.

No they all go in one direction. You would have to look in the NERW texturing.bin in the artimrj assets under terrain. Since it is a default texture all you need to do is copy the code out of NERW texturing to your texturing. Make sure you put it at the bottom of the list, ie; the last entry in that section.

OK, Bob:

If I'm reading this correctly, your file is located at:

Program Files 68k/Steam/steamapps/Common/railworks/Assets/Artimrj/Routes/Environment/Terrain/Textruing

Is this the one I need?

And I need to place a copy of this file where? Sorry, you may have to draw me a picture.

I wrote up a four part series on textures and goosing up your route. You can find part one here:
http://thegradecrossing.blogspot.com/20 ... to-cc.html

and there are links at the end to jump you to the next part.

You should already have a texturing.bin. I was telling Papa to just take the reference of the plowed fields out of mine and adding it to his. You really shouldn't just use my whole file. If you are not confortable editing the bin files yet, send me a copy of your texturing.bin file and I will add the reference for the plowed fields for you.

Do you have a provider and product folder structure in Assets? Like my artimrj/routes??? If you dont you need to regroup and set it up. Some people tend to use the default settings that uses the San Bar or Castle rock info, if you did this, you really need to check out RW Tools and set up your developer folders better. I have no idea what you have done so far.

Sir the picture you showed has a little blue box in the lower left click on the little blue box a fly out appears on the upper right pin it so it stays then scroll down and click on the assets you wish to display it may ask you question I always click ok or yes then check your box on the left there should be assets listed. If you have done the above then forgive my ramblings.

Well, for the most part, I apparently do not know either.

I do have developer and product folders but nowhere can I find what you are referring to.

kcs_fan, I will help you put things in order if you like. I will put a list of things together telling you what should be where and help you along the way. If you are not comfortable editting BIn files I can help you there also. But I will put something together for you and PM it to you to get it out of the forum so we can work it out together.

Bob: I would be most grateful for that help, as I have been afraid to try anything like that so far. I definitely have something wrong, though, because I have been getting the SBHH error on startup for the past two days. I didn't touch anything, it just started happening. I have verified my local files at least a dozen times during that period with no luck. !*hp*!
