Unzip this package to a temporary folder, e.g. C:Temp and click on RW_AssetSetup.exe inside the NJT folder that unpacks, the installer will open and should display the path of your TrainSimulator 2012 folder If not click on the '....' button and navigate to your TrainSimulator 2012 folder in Steam Click the 'Install to TrainSimulator 2012' button and that will install the re-skin. There is no need to cross copy shape files as the installer will do that for you.

Use your TS2012 Package Manager to install the NJ Transit P42DC Genesis.rwp file to install the Free Roam Scenario on the Test Track, load that to make sure the skin appears.

After that, it is all about making scenarios with it or swapping it out using RWTools into a current scenario.

The cars that would be best for those NJT passenger car reskins would be the Default HST coaches.
College will make you feel the same stress that a NYCT Subway dispatcher feels when there's a broken rail, signal problem, and police investigation on the same line at the height of the PM rush.

Yes, they look very similar to the Comet IIMs (NJT Coach) and those coaches are seen out on the NEC often.

OK, I am adding them to the Scenario, too many Amfleet cars in it so these will help break up the scenario, especially the Day Time Run in #51.

Here is the first look at the coaches, I know the roof needs done, just getting the body colour correct.

Updated image, logos added, still no roof yet, proving hard to find the texture or to 'map it over' from the one that it is aliased from.

You did a great job on those!! Just one small thing. The black stripe doesn't cover the door, the doors are all silver. But otherwise, I'd put those on my consists any time. If your interested in more equipment on the NEC, the DB 101 kinda looks like an ALP-46. You don't have to make these if you don't want to, but if you do, here's a drawing I found on trainweb.com.

That DB 101 looks close enough to me in shape.

If only for the buffers and the panto's. You can hack a buckeye coupler into the repaint, but not do away with the buffers. Also, the panto will not reach the NEC overhead wires when raised. That is a more serious detraction, because even a layperson will notice there is no contact.

So it does, even in all the images I pulled down the doors are Silver :) I'll fix that before release.

OK, worked out the Transparent Numbers gig so now I can add the 4800-4803 numbers to the Genesis re-skins. Is this image representative of where the numbers are situated?

I can't find any other images with real numbers on, just those Paper Masks. So if I can get confirmation of where the numbers are, seeing as some may be on the back, I will clone the units and make a unique one for each of the four numbered locos, if you like.

I am thinking about making an NJT Multilevel repaint. Only problem is I don't know of any Double-Decker coaches for RW3.
They look like this:

Any Double-decker will do for me. There's just one more catch, I can't get the full version of RW_Tools since I don't have a credit card (I'm only 15). So I'm gonna need someone to do all the stuff with RW_Tools for me. Otherwise giving the Coach its new scheme is something I can do.

Updated the NJT PD42's so that each of the four units will be available to place in scenarios, from the pack. Each with the correct number, 4800-4801-4802-4803. I have also used transparent numbers for the textures so that the original numbers no longer show up and spoil the look. I think these re-skins are now complete. I will post the updates over on my site later and mark them as Version 2 so you know when they are replaced.

They will now feature in the 'The Cardinal' scenario pack long with the NJT Passenger Coach replicas painted from the UK Stock MK3 Passenger Coaches, for which I have removed the 'Guard' coach so there is only two passenger coaches as I intended. That upload will wait a bit longer. Now to continue building the scenarios.
