What's everyones verdict so far? I quite like it as it's practically on my doorstep and i can see the detail in the stations are pretty cool aswell including stuff like the artwork in perth station, the moncrieff tunnel is also there just south of perth so that's a bonus as i was thinking of connecting up to ladybank (like in real life). I do have some gripes aswell but wanted to check in with everyone else's opinions first :)

I like it a lot so far, not perfect, but then nothing is. First scenario I tried had me leaving Edinburgh in a class 43 HST and I could hear station announcements and the station detail itself was excellent, very atmospheric.

I then tried the class 220 scenario and went over the Tay bridge, wow...Not had a shot at the Forth bridge yet, but judging from screenshots it looks amazing too. We might be getting Edinburgh to Newcastle at some point in the future, from the same developer.

Edinburgh to Glasgow also received it's upgrade, so Scotland has a had a good day in RW.

I like what JT did with edinburgh, making a castle from other buildings and making a castle like texture is certainly better than a flat 2d alternative but thomson did a better job inside waverley station in my opinion, loving the rest of what jt have done and im yet to play a proper game of the E-G route as i just had a nose at it on free roam, can someone point me in the right direction towards a link for scenario creation - learning the basics and all that, sone a lot of world editing learning but neglected to do any scenarios :) my other only gripe is we dont use class 166 up here, we use the turbostars just like everywhere else in scotland but i guess that might be a contractual rights thing as the 166's have scottish railways on them instead of scotrail, i think jt are also missing a trick to up their sales - we have 66 and 67's for frieght and sleeper services up here and thought they might have included a scenario for if you have those units but im sure someone will make one in no time :)

Yes been playing it thanks. Got to Kirkcaldy before a SBHH ended things - will start it again.

Updated it today as there was some trouble with one of the class 66`s i had in there, removed the problem and hopefully sorted it, :) thanks for the input everyone

I've driven the route several times, and it's not very buggy. I think i've only had 2 SBH errors.

Had another go and got to tunnel before Wverley before SBHH ended it. Not sure if system cannot cope with lighting so will have another go soonish with lower settings
