This has been happening with AI trains (only from what i can tell) around the curve since TS2012 was released. Kinda odd...it stretches out like this, just in a certain place of track, then goes back to normal. The latest coupler related patch did not fix it. Wonder why its doing this. Its like the train is trying to conform to a certain length or something. Used the summer 'observer' free roam to see this happen:

With this update (and the last one), my key commands are failing after about 15~30 minutes of editing (raise, lower, turn, etc.). Even the map display stops allowing me to zoom in and out while in the scenario editor after the same amount of time. Some operations, such as the track selection tool, doesn't quite work as it once did - I need to click just to the left of a piece of track to get the initial yellow box to display before dragging the second along its path.

The biggest issue I'm having (all RW3 versions), however, is that the sim is sucking the life out of my PC. With RS or RW2, I could have Google Earth, Firefox, Photoshop, and Paint Shop Pro all open at once without issue. RW3 by itself makes my PC very sluggish for about 15 minutes or so until the memory has fully cleared - and that's with nothing else running - very annoying! **!!bang!!**

The sim itself seems to be a bit faster than RW3's initial release, thank you, but still a dog when compared to previous versions (matters not if TSX is switched on or not).
Cheers!

I had the keyboard failure problem yesterday but thought it was something I did. Glad you brought that up.

I had the zoom failure in the map and I definitely could not select tracks to reassign them a new speed limit. I was going crazy. You have to click left of or right of the track depending on which direction you are going. Then you cant drag the selection tool far enough. Took me 2 hours to fix something that should have only taken 15 minutes.

Yep, I've had the keyboard stop communicating on me too. I was in the middle of driving in the P42 and couldnt hit the alerter reset! I had only been in the game for about 15 minutes. Restarted the game and all fine again - but I agree, it never seemed to do this before.

I get the keyboard fail 90% of the time when I switch to the editor to place and arrange trains and when I click play the keyboard is useless except ctrl-q. The F4 HUD works though. Sometimes if you just wait the game catches back up and the keyboard will work again. Have had that since release day.

Had a keyboard failure under 6.5j but thought it was because to long trains were passing. Evidently not.

So TS'12 is failing to keep up with the keyboard buffer?!?!!!!!!!! Tsk tsk *!rolleyes!* Even I have to say that's pretty bad programming.
